I miss it, is the best sport that i´ve practed in my live. The dance and the team work are the most beautiful in this sport. Through the time, you realize that is your second family, you win friends and they can help in everything what you need 💪💓🎊.

My Holy Week: Love, Family and Friends

Usually, I don´t travel in Holy Week  because for my family, it is time to pray, spend time in family, to repent about bad attitudes that you have had , to say sorry to God and ask him for health, unity in the family, peace with yourself, moral strength and force to face problems. It´s a time to purify your soul and the most important: go to the church. Also, my grandma and dad say that if you go swimming in a pool, you become in a fish. 

In my family, there are a lot of traditions in this time: all begin when we go to the church to celebrate "el Domingo de Ramos", is the representation of Jesus `s arrival to Jerusalem and people met him with palm leaves, all the people in the church take their palms leaves and in the end of the Eucharist, the saint father blesses them. Also, we celebrate "los siete potajes". "Los siete potajes" are a my mom`s tradition where we prepare seven plates to commemorate the last dinner offered by Jesus to his disciples. We visit the seven monuments in the church on holy thursday`s night: each one of them is the stops done by Jesus in his way to the cross. In each monument, we pray different prayers that are in a book like a "novena" but it`s shorter.

On holy Friday, we listen the 7 words ‘sermon: is the meaning of the seven words that Jesus said in the cross and we pray the 33 "credos": that`s for asking for mercy, calm violent actions like wars and natural phenomenon and beat the demon`s tricks.   Besides, on holy Saturday, we go to the church for a celebration called water and fire`s blessing: this is very beautiful, it`s a time where really you can listen that God `s talking to your heart and feel his presence but it`s very long. Finally, we go to Glory Eucharist on Resurrection Sunday. Others traditions but we don`t practice are that you cannot play board games, because it means that you`re playing the Jesus`s clothes and listening to music like salsa or reggeaton. This year, my Easter was a little different because I did things that I´d never done like going to cinema or meeting with my friends on holy Wednesday, that´s new for me. I love celebrating Easter with my family; I would not change for anything.
